Blue Ox offers a High-Low Adapter, part # BX88235 that might work for you if getting a 3 inch drop in the receiver would put you below the 16 inch maximum receiver height. This isn't an inexpensive solution, but the adapter has a huge weight capacity that will be needed to withstand the battering it will receive when used with a plow.
Keep in mind that the adapter cannot be used for towing a trailer. view full answer...
In the video you referenced Randy is using the SnowBear Proshovel Snowplow - 84" Wide x 22" Tall # SB324-172. At the 4:45 minute mark he shows you how to lower the skid legs so that you can unhook and slide the snow plow away from your truck for storage, and goes on to say that you can get the optional casters # SB324-126 as well to make it easier. The skid legs will be included with your snow plow kit but the casters will be a separate item. view full answer...
The SnowBear Proshovel Snowplow for 2" Hitches # SB324-140 has a shipping weight of 390 lbs. We drop ship this product from the manufacturer and it comes in 3 boxes that are between 75 and 150 lbs each. My contact couldn't give me a specific on individual box weights. It comes with 3 boxes on 1 skid but does not require a forklift as the 3 boxes can be individually lifted separately if desired. view full answer...
The correct 2-point mounting kit to install a SnowBear Winter Wolf Snowplow on your 2001 Sierra 2500 long bed is part # SB397-014. I've confirmed the fit with SnowBear. The only time the tow hooks have any bearing on the installation is if you're installing a front mounted hitch to serve as the plow's attachment point. Since you're wanting to use the 2 point mount, the presence of the tow hooks won't matter. view full answer...

I was able to find a drawing of the # K281235 on the detail K2 website which I have included below. There is very little info out there on this kit. We have not installed one here, nor have we had a chance to get one down to photo and take our own pictures. These kits have not been available for quite some time. The last time we sold one was in 2017. view full answer...
Most of the suspension enhancement systems are designed to help when carrying a heavy load and are not as effective when the truck is unloaded.
You can install a system like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, part # F2550 on your 2008 Ford F-250 Diesel but to be honest it will probably not affect the ride when the truck is not hauling anything. If your truck tends to bottom out when hitting rough spots in the road, a system like the F2550 would help lessen the impact and may... view full answer...
